How it works

Short codes are the default. QR codes and links are helpers.

When you enter text, Quick Text Share creates a temporary share code. Open a phone-created code on desktop, or scan a desktop-created QR code on your phone.

Quick share

The simplest mode opens with only the code. It is intended for temporary transfer and expires automatically after the selected TTL.

PIN-protected share

When PIN protection is on, the browser encrypts the text before storing it. The receiver needs both the code and the PIN.
